Terms of use & privacy

This is a plain-language summary, not a formal legal document. If you run this site for real users, have a lawyer review a proper terms of service and privacy policy before launch.

What this site does

Zineedo lets people post things they don't want (or want to rent out) and lets other people request them. The site only facilitates the connection between two people — it does not handle payment, delivery, or guarantee the condition of any item.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for arranging pickup, payment, and any deposit directly with the other person. Don't post anything illegal, stolen, unsafe, or that you don't have the right to give away, sell, exchange, or rent out.

Your data

We store your name, email, password (hashed, never in plain text), account type, and location if you provide one. Your name, account type, and location are shown to other users. Your email is only shown to someone you've directly transacted with (e.g. accepted their request), so they can contact you.

Safety

Meet in public places for pickups when possible, especially for higher-value items. Use the Report button on any post or user that seems suspicious, fake, or unsafe.

Changes

This page may change as the site evolves. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
